We're hiring a Psychiatric Assistant/Admin Support for our Chester County location. The Psychiatric Assistant/Admin Support works in partnership with the treatment team, to develop and monitor a comprehensive service plan for client and family as well as coordinates prescriber recommendations pertaining to medication, refill requests, concerns, and any other questions that arise from client and families. The Psychiatric Assistant is also responsible for supporting the doctors and clients with Telepsychiatry evaluations held in the office. This includes room preparation, taking vitals, and sitting in on evaluations.  

The Administrative Support role is responsible for providing client reception and administrative support to clinical and management staff. This position handles incoming/outgoing calls, interfacing with clients, data entry, typing, and filing.  

Program Specific Psychiatric Assistant Tasks:      

  • Serves as primary support resource to CGRC psychiatric staff, includes coordination of physician voicemail and physician evaluation / medication management scheduling.    
  • Assists physicians with electronic medical record documentation / charting requirements.    
  • Monitors physician voicemail on a regular basis. Troubleshoots and ensures client calls are triaged and resolved.    
  • Coordinates physician scheduling and communicates scheduling changes and revisions with Office Manager.    
  • Responds to insurance inquiries, authorization issues, and other requests on behalf of physicians as appropriate.     
  • Completes Psychiatric Productivity Report. g. Facilitates peer review process for the medical staff.   


• High School Diploma required.  

• Minimum of one (1) year working in a child/adolescent service system provider (CASSP).  

• Professional speaking ability and telephone etiquette.  

• Knowledge of computer systems and applications; Microsoft Office required.  

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.   

• Good organization skills and the ability to coordinate multiple priorities.  

• Ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and the public.  

• Driver’s License required.
