Child Guidance Resource Centers has an ongoing need for part-time Outpatient Therapists for our Outpatient Services program in our
Chester County location!    

What are Outpatient Services?   

Outpatient Services are an array of office and school-based services that address your child, adolescent, or teen’s depression, anxiety, stress, anger, self-esteem, ADHD, bereavement and other emotional, social and behavioral difficulties. Following a comprehensive assessment and consultation, we work with you to identify your child’s needs and make recommendations for treatment. We may recommend one or more of the following: individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, or medication management. We also offer evidence based models including Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) for anxiety, ADHD, grief, and loss.    

As an Outpatient Therapist you will be responsible for coordinating, assessing, implementing and m evaluating clients receiving outpatient services. In addition to providing individual, group and family therapy, you will function in a consultative, collaborative and educational relationship with the primary care physician, staff psychiatrists and other professionals involved in client care.   


• Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, nursing, rehabilitative or activity therapy or related behavioral health field required; special education not accepted as behavioral health field.   

• Licensed in respective field preferred.   

• Licensed professionals must possess a minimum of one (1) year experience working with children, adolescents and families. Unlicensed professionals must possess a minimum of three (3) years of experience.   

• Able to clinically address emotional/psychological needs of child/adolescent and family.   

• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.   

• Must be able to work flexible hours and evenings.
