CGRC is launching a new program – CREATE – Creating Relationships and Emotional Adaptability in a Therapeutic Environment.  CREATE is an innovative approach to group social skills service for children and adolescents diagnosed with autism (ages 3-21).  The goals of the program are to build social and communication skills, improve problem solving and emotional regulation, and enhance flexibility and motivation.

CGRC is a private, non-profit community organization providing high quality, community-based services to children, adolescents and families with behavioral health challenges, developmental disabilities and residential needs. Our programs have proven to be successful for over 55 years, helping to create healthy and secure communities.

Our CREATE program offers guaranteed hours, supervision and licensure assistance for our employees within a structured and supportive environment. You will have the opportunity to gain exposure to new curriculums and innovative therapies, including ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) Based Programming, Hidden Curriculum, QuestTM, Social ThinkingTM, social stories, and behavior mapping. In addition to group outpatient services, CREATE also incorporates family therapy and parent workshops. •         Graduate degree in a mental health field, which includes a clinical training and clinical practicum.

•         License required (LCSW, LPC, Licensed Psychologist, LMFT)

•         One year of post-graduate clinical experience. 

•         Relevant experience working with children/adolescents diagnosed on the autism spectrum and group therapy.

•          Hours: June-Aug 11am-3pm and 3pm-7pm Sept-May
