Child Guidance Resource Centers has an ongoing need for Group Therapists to work in our CREATE (Creating Relationships and Emotional Adaptability in a Therapeutic Environment) program in SW Philadelphia, PA.

CREATE is an innovative approach to group social skills service for children and adolescents diagnosed with autism (ages 3-21). The goals of the program are to build social and communication skills, improve problem solving and emotional regulation, and enhance flexibility and motivation. As a Group Therapist you would be responsible for the implementation of the CREATE evidence informed programming.

Our CREATE program offers guaranteed hours, supervision and licensure assistance for our employees within a structured and supportive environment. You will have the opportunity to gain exposure to new curriculums and innovative therapies, including ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) Based Programming, Hidden Curriculum, QuestTM, Social ThinkingTM, social stories, and behavior mapping. In addition to group outpatient services, CREATE also incorporates family therapy and parent workshops. Responsibilities:
• Providing family and group therapy with children 3-21 with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder
• Completing intake assessments
• Providing a safe and structured environment that allows engagement in therapy
• Completing clinical documentation and outcomes monitoring
• Reviewing and utilizing clinical information pertaining to the client to inform treatment
• Actively communicating with family and systems of care regarding treatment
• Running parent workshops around relevant topics
• Completing comprehensive discharge plan for clients served

Requirements:
• Graduate degree in a mental health field, which includes a clinical training and clinical practicum.
• License preferred (LCSW, LPC, Licensed Psychologist, LMFT)
• One year of post-graduate clinical experience.
• Relevant experience working with children/adolescents diagnosed on the autism spectrum and group therapy.
• Hours: EVENINGS ONLY Mon/Wed 3-7pm, Tue/Thu 3-7pm or Mon-Thu 3-7pm
