Child Guidance Resource Centers is looking for a part-time Clinical Intervention Specialist to join our EAS/BHRS Department in Delaware County. Our staff are able to work remotely during COVID-19, so we are actively hiring! 

The Clinical Intervention Specialist is responsible for providing comprehensive intake, assessment, referral, and ongoing behavioral intervention consultation services to a treatment team including children and families who present with complex needs a in need of special behavioral management protocols. The Clinical Intervention Specialist will maintain a caseload of clients that will require use of various assessment tools and interventions, creation of functional behavior assessments, treatment plan recommendations and development for children and adolescence.  

Requirements:  

• Masters Degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related behavioral health field required.  

• Licensed in respective field required (LBS, LSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT).  

• Minimum of three (3) years experience working in the behavioral healthcare system with children and adolescents preferred.  

• Ability to clinically address emotional/psychological needs of child/adolescent and family.  

• Knowledge of crisis management techniques, including de-escalation strategies.  

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.  

• Experience completing diagnostic assessment tools prior to hire preferred; completion of diagnostic testing training required.  

• Valid driver’s license and own transportation required.  

• Able to work flexible hours, including day, evening and weekends as necessary
