Job Description

Child Guidance Resource Centers is looking for part-time and full-time Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) to join our ABA department in Philadelphia County. Our staff are able to work remotely during COVID-19, so we are actively hiring!
  

The BCBA conducts functional behavioral assessments (FBA) that will drive the treatment plan and ABA programs. This role provides ABA therapy to children with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder in the home, school, and community settings. This position will develop individualized treatment plans with the family and monitors client progress towards goals. The BCBA will supervise the implementation of behavioral assessment measures, functional assessment, and treatment plan implementation.   

Responsibilities:   

  • Transfers the treatment plan implementation skills to all mediators, (i.e., parent, teacher, caregivers).   
  • Develops appropriate behavioral data collection systems such that quantifiable behavioral data is collected at regular intervals to allow for the continual evaluation of treatment plans and the achievement of individual goals and objectives.  
  • Graphs clinical data on active treatment goals to monitor progress and facilitate any changes that need to me made to programming.  
  • Utilizes clinical outcome measures and individualized data collected regularly to graph, monitor progress, update treatment plan interventions, and develops discharge/aftercare plans.  
  • Consults and coordinates regularly with all mediators of the treatment plan.  
  • If applicable, supports all assigned Therapeutic Support Staff in implementing designed ABA programs by providing at a minimum of monthly case consultation.   
  • Consult and collaborate with schools, daycares, medical professionals, and other related disciplines.  
  • Completes required clinical documentation regularly in the electronic and paper medical record.  
  • Provides supports to families that focuses on crisis management and coordinates care when needed.

Requirements:   

  • BCBA license required.   
  • Minimum of one year post master’s experience implementing ABA programs for individuals under 21 with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder.  
  • Completion of the 2-day PA FBA training.   
  • Proficient with adaptive/functional clinical assessments, ABA Program/Goal Development, and ABA Behavior Reduction and Skills Acquisition Procedures.  
  • Competent to address the age-specific issues relative to the population served.  
  • Ability to clinically address emotional/psychological needs of child/adolescent and family.  
  • Knowledge of crisis management techniques, including de-escalation strategies and physical restraint, required.  
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.  
  • Flexible hours including day, evenings and weekends hours available.  
  • Valid driver’s license and own transportation.
