Do YOU want to lead an integrated treatment team working together to empower families in improving the quality of life for their children with behavioral and developmental needs, then becoming a Behavior Consultant – Mobile Therapist (BC-MT) at Child Guidance is for you! We are actively looking for full-time BC-MTS for our IBHS Department in Philadelphia County.

As a BC-MT, you will offer behavioral intervention consultation services to a treatment team for a child or adolescent in need of special behavioral management protocols at home, school and other community settings.

• Provides individual and group therapy services to children and adolescents in the home, school and community setting.
• Designs and implements an effective behavior plan and ongoing data collection to assess behavior change and modify treatment as needed
• Develops effective and timely treatment goals with measurable objectives and provides information/referral services to clients and families.
• Communicates regularly and effectively with team members and supervisory staff.
• Records all case progress notes in order to maintain accurate history of treatment events and client progress.
• Completes all documentation requirements within determined time-frames consistent with CGRC corporate compliance procedures.
• Conducts intake appointments with families and collects information relevant to the assessment process (medical info, mental status of client, and biopsychosocial info)
• Conducts observations of children across settings of home, school, and community.
• Completes assessments with teachers, parents, and children to aid in clarifying a child’s diagnosis.
• Develops clinical documents that summarize observational data collected, assessments completed, and that will support continuing treatment of identified behaviors (functional behavior analysis report, treatment plan, etc.)

• Master's in Clinical discipline (Clinical or Counseling Psychology, Clinical Social Work etc.)
• License (LSW, LCSW, LPC, LBS, LMFT) required.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience working with children and their families in a mental health, education, child welfare or juvenile justice system.
• Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
