Child Guidance Resource Centers is looking for part-time School-Based Outpatient Therapists to join our School Based department in Delaware County and Chester County.  

The School-Based Outpatient Therapist is responsible for coordinating, assessing, implementing and evaluating the behavioral healthcare needs of children, adolescents and families receiving outpatient services. In addition to providing individual, group and family therapy, the therapist functions in consultative, collaborative and educational relationships with the primary care physician, staff psychiatrists and other professionals involved in client care.  

Responsibilities include:    

• Completes biopsychosocial assessments utilizing a strength based, family-focused perspective. 
• Develops effective and timely treatment goals with measurable objectives and well defined roles. 
• Performs individual and family therapy sessions within the framework of treatment plan goals. 
• Timely and accurate completion of all case progress notes in order to maintain treatment events and client progress; utilizes DAP format and relates notes to treatment plans.

Requirements   

• Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, nursing, rehabilitative or activity therapy or related behavioral health field required. 
• Three years of clinical child and adolescent experience with family therapy skills preferred.  
• Demonstrated ability to appropriately address the biopsychosocial needs of child/adolescent and family. 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills 
• Availability to work a minimum of 5 hours weekly during school hours and additional flexibility to offer after school hours preferred. Availability during the summer based on client need.   

Preferred Education or Experience

• Licensed professional in behavioral health field (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
