Job Summary
The Medical Records Administrator is responsible for the coordination of Health Information functions throughout Child Guidance Resource Centers (CGRC). This role works with protected health information of all CGRC clients. This includes maintenance of health records in a manner consistent with medical, ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements of the health care industry. The Health Information Management Administrator interfaces with all program teams, management, and clients with the expectation of delivering exceptional customer service at all times.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, scanners and photocopiers.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to speak and hear sufficiently to communicate effectively by phone or in person at normal volumes. The employee’s vision must be adequate to read correspondence, computer screen, forms, etc. The position requires good manual dexterity to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, and other office equipment. Employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, stretch and lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 8.5 hours per day (including a 30 minute unpaid break) during office hours. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
This position requires up to 25% travel (driving). Travel would be local to other CGRC offices.
